Katherine Johnson Scholarship

Established to honor NASA pioneer Katherine Johnson, the first Black women to attend 91ÌÒÉ« graduate school, this scholarship benefits African American students studying math or science in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences.

The Scott D. Widmeyer First-Generation/African American Scholarships

The scholarship program benefits African American and first-generation West Virginian college students who are seeking degrees in journalism. The scholarships focus on students in 91ÌÒɫ’s Reed College of Media. To date, 40 students have been awarded scholarships. Scott Widmeyer is a recipient of the Distinguished West Virginian Award for his ongoing commitment to 91ÌÒÉ«.
